Arteparco is a cultural project designed by Paridevitale to promote the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise (UNESCO heritage for its old-growth forest), through site-specific art installation.The project, promoted with the support of BMW Italy and Sky Arte, involves every year an artist who is invited to create an artwork for the beautiful landscape of the Park.In 2018 Marcantonio designed Animale –Vegetale (Il Cuore), an installation which reminds us how deep is the connection between Man and Nature. In 2019 Matteo Fato realized Specchi Angelici: a celebration of the beauty of the Nature and its fundamental role in the art history. In 2020 Alessandro Pavone created for the third edition of Arteparco the work Un tempo è stato, a site-specific wooden installation depicting a human arm trunk, from whose hand a tree of the park: a reflection on the wonder of the cycle of life. Radiocorno is the site-specific art installation presented at the 2021 edition by the artist Sissi, who located her great artwork on a stone.In 2022 the artist Valerio Berruti realized a giant sculpture with the profile of a child emerging from one of the Park’s rock. Totemi was realized in 2023, and represents an intervention of yarn bombing curated by the artistic collective Accademia di Aracne. In 2024 the artist megx brought to life Rinascita, a female figure emerging from the trunk of a dead tree. During the last edition in 2025, Velasco Vitali realized Stasis, a roughly hewn oak trunk that becomes a natural column topped with an acanthus-leaf capital, where at its peak stands an Apennine wolf, symbol of wild nature and a metaphor for contemporary society.
